“The Touch, the Word, the Art of Healing All”
There are some individuals who are destined for their life’s work and docMIKE is such an individual. After personally experiencing the disabling effects of a spinal injury and finding recovery through Chiropractic, following years of mismanagement by allopathic medicine, Michel Yves Tetrault entered an 8-year formal course of university toward the final degree as Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating summa cum laude in 1979.
The lessons learned on the “Wellness” topic come from a long and active holistic practice and from exposure to both scientific studies and traditional healing encountered from travels to over 40 countries in all continents; frequently being published with a propensity for educating people and an analytic mind that simply won’t quit; the outcome is an individual with a creative mastermind affectionately known as docMIKE, a Wellness Guru and Chiropractor in the Philippines and in Asia.

03/21/2013 at 12:15 amHi Doc,
Thanks a lot for leading me to your blogs – I enjoyed reading all – very informative, “disturbing” my comfort zone 😀 in a way that is amusing . I heard myself say “Ouch” many times :D. Thanks for the reminders – indeed the time to think wellness is yesterday – never too late though – just have to decide to do it now!. More blogs to come please – you are so generous to share what you know – big thanks!

10/01/2013 at 6:07 amHi doc mike,
I am Dr. Martin and am desiring to move to and practice in Philippines. I would like to know what I must do. I graduated from Palmer in 1986 when only boards 1 and 2 plus physiotherapy were needed. I have an active license in Iowa. I was wondering if I would be able to come practice in Philippines. Thanks for your help.
My very best regards,
Martin Mason d.c.

10/01/2013 at 9:30 pmDear Dr. Mason, you are welcome to further inquire about practicing in the Philippines. There are about two dozen DCs in the entire country so it takes exceptional circumstances to succeed in relocating to the Philippines, the main consideration is WHY you are considering this move. Truth is it will require a major investment of time, money and personal commitment as this is very different from moving to just another USA city. Please direct your further questions to my personal email [email protected]. docMIKE

12/16/2013 at 8:39 amDear Rezin,
You are describing a chronic low back condition. These tend to increase in complications over the years such as pinching nerves or wearing down inter-vertebral discs. Yes, of course this type of problem is exactly what chiropractic is able to properly evaluate and make recommendations for appropriate care. As you read my other blogs on chiropractic, your confidence should increase that a solution could be possible. May I suggest you visit our website and select the best location? Go to http://www.Chiropractic.com.ph and call to make an appointment for your evaluation.

04/10/2014 at 3:24 pmThank you for your unselfish advocacies.
You have been treating a lot of patients with pain, but, can numbness of the extremities be treated also?
I have my 70 years old husband, who has been seeing neurologists and considering neuropathy as their tentative diagnosis.
It was in 2011 that he felt numbness on his both feet and in 2012, numbness reached the knees and has extended way up one fourth his thighs. He has difficulty in walking and sometimes, off balances.
He is free from diabetes, hypertension and any cardiac ailments.
Can chiropractic treatment help his condition?
admin
04/12/2014 at 12:51 pmHi Gladys, Thanks for your note. Numbness is an abnormal (hypo function) nerve outcome of a few conditions. You state there is no history of Diabetes or cardiovascular disease, therefore that leaves one main source, nerve pressure. Progressive neuropathies can result from gradual increase in nerve root pressure, typically at the spine. Unfortunately MDs do not have any training in chiropractic so they cannot make an informed decision to refer your husband to one. YES, by all means, he needs to have a proper spine and nerve evaluation by a qualified chiropractor. Depending on where you live in the world that could be easy or difficult to find. docMIKE

05/01/2014 at 6:39 pmHi Doc Mike,
I went to your clinic last week for my shoulder problem with a positive result.
I have a problem on my right knee which is always swollen for almost 4 years. My uric acid is always high. What can be the best remedy?
admin
05/02/2014 at 9:08 amDear Rolly, glad to hear your shoulder and neck are better. I do recall examining your knee and found that there is swelling of the bursa under the knee cap and some signs of arthritis at the inside part of the knee joint. Both can be helped with daily use of ice with some needed dietary changes as well. Permit me to refer you to these blogs that explain this better and give you a fuller understanding so you can follow my advice with confidence. docMIKE

05/26/2019 at 6:29 pmHi doc Mike my husband has a severe lower back pain for the past 4 years until now. His doctor advised him to undergo with MRI. Can chiropractic help his severeblower backpain? Mildred here.
Thank you,
Michel Tetrault
06/10/2019 at 9:27 amDear Mildred, Chronic back pain is an everyday problem we treat at my Mabuhay Chiropractic Clinics. Normally we only require an MRI when there is daily leg pain or severe disabling low back pain with or without leg pain. Your husband would benefit from a chiropractic evaluation to determine exactly what is the source of the pain. You can call 888-CHIRO (24476) or email [email protected] to arrange for an evaluation at one of our health centers nearest to you. Warmest regards, docMIKE
