Spirit of Bayanihan Pioneering chiropractic in the Philippines is a community effort. Unlike other established health professions like medicine and dentistry that have much larger support systems and decades of building many schools to provide practitioners in every city, Chiropractic is still in its pioneer stages. Those individuals who have benefitted from their chiropractic experience can make a difference in their communities by sharing their experiences. Undoubtedly, people share their stories with close family, but most families have not been that fortunate. Mabuhay Chiropractic Clinics has promoted the chiropractic patient community to become a formal organization. In 2013 we assisted in the formation of the Pro-Chiropractic Patient Federation-Philippines chapter. As the pandemic has impacted much of the nation, an effort to revitalize the advocacy will be undertaken once the pandemic ends. In the meantime, Mabuhay Chiropractic is undertaking to engage our large and growing patient community to embrace in their own way the healthcare advocacy by sharing their chiropractic experiences through testimonials, online reviews, and referring at least one person per year to a chiropractor near them. On that subject, Mabuhay Chiropractic Clinics is launching the "Spirit of Bayanihan Chiropractic Campaign" in all of our nationwide clinics during the remaining months of the pandemic. Why Bayanihan? because it follows the Filipino culture of working together as a community to achieve a common goal, doing "heroic group work." It means being and becoming a hero while helping out one's neighbor only as a community can and doing a task together because it is the right thing to do. Yours in Real Health, docMIKE
